New ATI SDK

Today a new release of the ATI SDK was released. There's plenty of interesting content in there, several new samples for the X1800, a bunch of new tech papers and many updated samples as well.

Great, ATI drivers and developper support has really increased recently, thanks to you.

Is there any ati developpers forum or something ?Where do we report bugs, sdk or opengl driver bugs ?

I like the paper about the different texturing formats for HDR data (and the coding/encoding snippeds in it, too)..

oh, and, I'd love to see the raytracing app one day you happen to know how fast it is?

LarsMiddendorf,
not at this point. We're talked about that many times, but so far it has not been done. I think we should though.

tuan kuranes,
you can email devrel 'at' ati.com, or if you have a small sample app that shows the problem you can send it to me directly (epersson 'at' ati.com) and I'll take a look at it.

davepermen,
it was running at about 80fps on the pre-release board I have at work (clocked at 500/500). The scene is really simple though. But is has really nice reflections.

What about R2VB demos??? Displacement mapping? I think ATi needs to prove R2VB is useful... It\'s very important.

Did I also understood correcly (like tEd): X1300/X1600 have 24 bit DST / Fetch4, while the "flagman" X1800 does not? Bummer...
