Server up again

The server is up again after some downtime. No idea why it went down, but it sure ran fine for a long time, closing in on a full year uptime. Linux sure is a stable OS.

Heh, this is odd. I thought my roommate had been down to Ludd (a local computer club at uni where we have our server) and restarted it. No, it turns out he didn't even know the server was back up again. But it's back up again, and none of us have touched the machine. Checking the uptime stats clearly suggests that it's been rebooted. I don't think it possibly could have rebooted itself after being down a couple of days (or could it ), so I think it sounds likely that somebody down at Ludd mistakenly had shut it down (for whatever reason) and now restarted it for us. Well, that's my guess anyway.
