"For too long, many nations, including my own, tolerated, even excused, oppression in the Middle East in the name of stability. Oppression became common, but stability never arrived. We must take a different approach. We must help the reformers of the Middle East as they work for freedom, and strive to build a community of peaceful, democratic nations."
- George W. Bush

When I was younger I spent 9 summers working as a forest planter, from I was 15 to 23. Hard work, but pays well if you keep up the speed as you're paid by the plant. Made me some good money during my student years. A number of years ago now, probably around a decade ago or so by now, I planted on this clear-cut forest area close to home. I hadn't inspected it, but decided I should take a look to see how it turned out. Turned out very well it seems. Looks like pretty much every plant has survived and grown a full man's height.
