"It's no accident that capitalism has brought with it progress, not merely in production but also in knowledge. Egoism and competition are, alas, stronger forces than public spirit and sense of duty."
- Albert Einstein

Nice piece!
However, I noticed some shadow popping on 2:32..2:33, when sun is setting down, the island mountain on the left suddenly looses self-shadowing and becomes lit by sun from the opposite Or is it some trick? May be, there is a huge mirror behind us, but we don't see it in the picture?

yes, no vsync. check for example at 38 seconds in on the ground, also in a few later places in the video.
but if that's fixed in the actual game, then great, cause otherwise it really looks cool.

Yeah, Rico is too cool to melt the snow.

I haven't had as much time to work on it as I have wanted, but I'm working on it at this very moment though. It has enough stuff done for me to experiment with stuff, but it's lacking a lot of stuff that I want in there. Once I get some DX11 hardware I suppose there will be quicker progress on it though.

Looks awesome, one thing bothered me tho... When snow falls on MY skin, it melts, but aparently "Rico" has a very low body temperature :P

Hope the controls are better in JC2, because in Just Cause, they were terrible, atleast on PC

What tearing? As in no vsync? Vsync is definitively in the game and any lack thereof should not transfer to a video capture anyway.
