"Liberty has never come from Government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of it. The history of liberty is a history of limitations of governmental power, not the increase of it."

The screenshots from TH were actually what made me try the game in the first place. I wanted to see if they could really pull it off, and not make another case like Far Cry 2 where the game looked nothing like the pre-release screenshots.

And while it's certainly possible to create stunning shots there are a few things that are noticeable only when playing, like the popping LOD changes, or the distant 2D trees without shadows when you look through the scope. It would be cool if there was a way to bump it up even more.
The performance is pretty nice though.

Around 31 seconds into the video a cloud cuts into the mountains. ;^)

The best of luck for the project and regards!

"bugs" == visual artifacts I guess.
21s in, tree popups.
28s in, the shadows from the 3 hostages are 45 off?
54s in, crazy shadow flickering on helicopter

looks quite fun. it has that bionic commando / spiderman swing hook which seems popular now ;-)

Hehe, nope, that's not it. (Although I agree the reflection on that window looks a bit weird.)

Impressive! And I second the window flickering as bug. The two hostages (near the wall) do have shadows, Val.

On the other hand, you could in your pre-z pass only render particles that also have attenuation alpha >= 1.0.
