To be honest, up until getting ours I was under the impression that guys too should have both an engagement ring and later a wedding ring. However, apparently it's typical that guys have only one ring. On the wedding you just add an additional engraving to the same ring. Since you only have one ring the guy's ring is usually wider, as you can see in the picture. Mine is 5mm and her is 3mm.
