Yep I've seen that nobody was posting.

Such a tutorial would be amazing since I do know how to do it theoretically but practically I don't know where to begin + which tools to use for that.

I'm really impressed by your cubemaps cause you see the seams only if you concentrate on it or draw in wireframe mode and check the edges after.

I want to take a snapshot of my flat to use it in my demos! Furtermore, I'm living in the near of the alps and there are plenty of nice spots to capture. Of course I would share my work

Thx

I consider that this was a hasty decision... Forum it is necessary to develop, but not all to delete...

Oh, really? I didn't check before deleting the whole thing. Just got annoyed yesterday that yet again I had half a dozen emails about new accounts registered, of which all were spam as usual. And the forum had been idle since like November or so, so I thought I should remove it. It's a bit ironic that I decided to remove it just as someone was finally posting something there.

As for a cubemap tutorial, sure, I've considered doing that. I don't know when I will have the time though, but it's my mental TODO list.

Hi,

that's a pity since I've posted a question yesterday. It was about your cubemaps. Can you maybe do a tutorial how to create cubemaps?

Thx,

Christoph

Nice. Now, how about spending some time on your OpenGL SDK area?

(yes I'm a hyprocrate I know)

Ah, well that would be problematic for 96MB worth of textures. I guess I could use 6 regular textures instead of a cubemap. May dodge the software rendering, but would still run slow since it would be going over the bus all the time.
