Ok i see that it definitely does make the lightmaps.
Humus, if I asked very nicely would you explain the lightmap generation algorithm to me?
Thanks,

Hi,
Long time listener, first time caller (rofl always wanted to say that).
Anyway ...great demo.
Small question, you say you made the map in UnrealEd, but what about the lgithmap? I see there is lightmap generation code within your main.cpp, so did you create the lightmaps and pack them with your own code or did you use UnrealEd for that too?
Thanks,
ViLiO

I see no reason why OpenGL can't coexist with WGF.

That is a good question with WGF I was lately thinking the same, how can OpenGL co-exist with that unless someone writes a wrapper for OpenGL translated and then going through the WGF layer. It is definetly a smart move by M$. Well even so there will be a lot of troublesome faces in the game industry when they start to have fighting over 3D resources

Thanks.
OpenGL will still live on. In fact, Microsoft is upgrading the OpenGL support to 1.2 (whoohoo! In 2030 they might get to 1.3 if we're lucky

).
