As long as ATI doesn't provide at least a minimal extension set to provide D3D10 capabiltities I don't think you will see any OpenGL demos here.

NVIDIA on the other hand does provide them, but ATI has decided not to implement them (they are EXT extensions and could be implemented by ATI). One reason could be that they want to focus on OpenGL 3.0 when it's ready and not to implement everything twice.

Your photographs inspire me to pick up a camera and take up photography or something, hehe. Especially your last photograph that made the front page .

Anyhows this is the first comment I've ever made on your website, but I do visit every now and then to see what's new or whatever .

ChrisGraphics,
you can use any digital camera (even though an SLR is recommended because of the manual settings to guarantee that all pictures are taken with the same settings (some high-end P&S cameras have fully manual mode too)). I'd recommend you mount the camera on a panorama head though. I use a Nodal Ninja 3, which is quite affordable and good enough. It is possible to do it with just a tripod that you can rotate too, but the images will shift since it's not rotating around the lens nodal point. I did my first cubemaps that way, but it's a lot messier and generally means you have to postprocess your stuff for hours to cover rendering errors. In like half the cases the quality will be too poor to use. So a panorama head is definitely worth the money.

Nadja,
n, fast jag letade inte heller. Hade nog blivit lite vl bltt.
